Uncommonly useful for spinal TENS therapy.
I often use a “TENS” unit (Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation) to help me reduce pain from a longstanding lower lumbar injury. Sticky “patches” with attached wires go from my lower spine to a control unit which allows me to configure different patterns of “mild electrical shocks” which usually serve to reduce/remove potentially disabling pain. During the day, I can hook the control unit to my belt or place it, unseen, in a pocket. AT NIGHT, however, I was often frustrated with electrode jacks coming loose–and I don’t like wearing PJs. The front pocket is an IDEAL SIZE/PLACEMENT to “cache” my TENS device and protect the electrode jacks even when I switch from sleeping on my back to one or another side. So, of necessity, I have found a somewhat unexpected usage for this well-made garment. The “fit and finish” are excellent, although the best size required me to ask for an exchange.
